Age Limit:
  • For appearing in the JEE Main exam, there is no age limit. Candidates of any age can apply.
Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.
  • Those who are appearing for their qualifying examination in the same year as the JEE Main exam are also eligible to apply.
Qualifying Examination:
  • For admission to B.E./B.Tech courses: Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.
  • For admission to B.Arch courses: Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • For admission to B.Planning courses: Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Year of Qualifying Examination:
  • Candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination in the year 2022, 2023, or are appearing in 2024 are eligible to apply for the JEE Main exam.
Number of Attempts:
  • Candidates can attempt the JEE Main exam a maximum of three times consecutively
